Agreement to these terms
These terms govern access to and use of cocreatejs.com, including its documentation, contact forms, and community features. By using the website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the website.
Website and project information
We work to keep website and documentation content useful and accurate, but the project changes over time. Examples, compatibility statements, measurements, roadmaps, and documentation may be incomplete, experimental, or changed without notice. Verify technical details against the version of the software you use.
Open-source software licensing
These website terms do not replace the licenses included with CoCreateJS source repositories or individual packages. Software use, copying, modification, and distribution are governed by the license accompanying that software.
CoCreateJS projects may be offered under the GNU Affero General Public License version 3, another identified open-source license, or an alternative commercial license. Review the applicable repository and package before use.
Accounts and security
If a website feature requires an account, you are responsible for providing accurate information, protecting credentials, and activity performed through the account. Notify us if you believe an account or credential has been compromised.
Acceptable use
You may not use the website to:
- Break applicable law or infringe another person’s rights.
- Attempt unauthorized access to accounts, systems, data, or infrastructure.
- Distribute malware, exploit code intended to cause harm, spam, or deceptive content.
- Interfere with website availability, security, monitoring, or normal operation.
- Misrepresent affiliation with CoCreate or the CoCreateJS project.
Contributions and public content
Issues, merge requests, discussions, examples, and other material submitted to public project spaces may be publicly visible and retained as part of project history. You are responsible for what you submit and must have the rights needed to submit it. Repository contribution terms and licenses also apply.
Names, logos, and website content
CoCreate, CoCreateJS, associated logos, and branding may be protected by trademark and other laws. Open-source software licenses do not automatically grant permission to use project names or logos in a way that suggests endorsement. Website text, design, and media remain subject to their identified licenses or applicable rights.
Third-party services and independent deployments
The website may link to GitLab, infrastructure providers, databases, APIs, or other third-party services governed by their own terms. Independently operated CoCreateJS deployments are controlled by their operators; CoCreate is not responsible for their content, security, availability, or practices.
Disclaimers
The website and its content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free content, compatibility with every environment, or that examples are appropriate for a particular production system.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, CoCreate and project contributors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary damages arising from use of, or inability to use, the website. Rights that cannot legally be limited remain unaffected.
Changes and contact
We may update these terms as the website and project evolve. Continued use after an update means the updated terms apply from their effective date.
